Technical Department
Elke Edletzberger found her life´s calling in stoves though it seemed as if she would rather fit teeth than stoves. After taking her A-levels she started to study human medicine and dentistry at the University of Vienna. Because of the parental wholesale in stoves and associated products she already acquired knowledge of the matter. So she changed her mind, left university for a renowned company to do an apprenticeship as stove-fitter. Successfully completed, the Lower Austrian utilised her skills for the marketing and technical department of the branch known company Ortner GmbH till she changed her position in 2011 and addressed herself to a new task at the VFH – nothing new to her because she had already done a working placement over several months. At the VFH she is in charge of the test stand, gives tech support, and participates in the association´s web presences.
