It traditionally takes place at the end of January at the exhibition centre in Wels. The fair caters to stove builders/Kachelofen builders, tilers and ceramists. KOK Austria 2012 marked by environment

“Prima Klima” – not only the festive evening´s slogan of the upcoming KOK Austria: the fair of 2012 is totally dedicated to environmental thinking and is growing even more international: new exhibitors from Germany, Italy, Spain, the Czech Republic and Austria announced their coming. The organising institutions like the Austrian Kachelofen Association, the federal guild, and the Tile Association of Austria reckon that the number of exhibitors and the exhibition space are comparable to 2011´s trade fair.

This year´s award of the Austrian environmental label “Umweltzeichen 37” to the Austrian Kachelofen Association as well as to several stove fitting companies has raised a new in-line spirit. People call it the new Kachelofen-generation, who´s not just label-oriented but also concentrates on upcoming requirements of 2015´s emission limit values. Therefor the companies made up their minds to be in the position of presenting new product ideas at the fair. The trade fair will include a forum for information and discussion (51st Technical Symposium).

Online program

The Austrian Kachelofen Association´s homepage provides besides the current list of exhibitors the Technical Symposium´s program. All lectures are given in German language.

Festive evening in hot and cold style

Hot buffet-dinner and cold drinks are going to be served at the festive evening for sure. Hot rhythm will be performed by the musical highlights called “Quintessenz”, Austria´s wildest a cappella band and the Gala band “Esprit”, already acclaimed in January 2011. The slogan “Prima Klima – the four elements show” applies to the bands as well as to the evening´s catering: all things served should be geared to fire, earth, air, and water.

At home in new exhibition hall

As you know the organising institutions decided to move the fair to hall 20, Austria´s most modern exhibition hall. Right from the first day the new hall offered to both – exhibitors and visitors – an optimal ambience for the fair and the Technical Symposium as well as for societal events like the festive evening. People are feeling at home right from the start. ”In 2012”, the organisers claimed, “impressions won´t change and we´re looking forward to high attendance throughout the three-day fair”.
